Welcome to the California Republic Soccer Club International Program.

This guide is designed to help you prepare for international travel, stay safe, and perform at your best both on and off the field.
2. Travel Preparation

Documents: Passport (valid for at least 6 months), visa (if required), travel insurance, emergency contacts.

Packing Checklist: Club uniforms, training gear, cleats, shin guards, personal toiletries, medications, chargers, adapters, water bottle, journal.

Health: Immunizations if needed, notify staff of medical conditions, carry personal medications in original containers.
3. Behavior and Expectations

You are representing the Club, California, and the United States.

Always follow the Code of Conduct.

Be respectful of local culture, traditions, and customs.

Be punctual — time management is part of professionalism.
4. Daily Schedule and Routine

Training/Matches: Follow coaches’ instructions, stay hydrated, eat balanced meals.

Meetings: Attend all team meetings, briefings, and tactical sessions.

Curfews: Set for team safety and rest. Must be respected.

Free Time: Players may explore local areas only with staff permission and preferably in groups.
5. Nutrition & Hydration

Eat balanced meals with protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables.

Avoid excessive junk food or unfamiliar street food.

Stay hydrated before, during, and after training/matches.

Energy drinks are discouraged; water and electrolyte solutions are recommended.
6. Health & Safety

Report injuries or illnesses immediately to staff.

Always warm up and cool down properly.

Use sunscreen, hats, or protective gear when needed.

Keep valuables secure; do not carry large amounts of cash.
7. Communication & Media

Social media posts should reflect positively on you and the Club.

Do not share sensitive team information (tactics, injuries, disputes).

Stay in touch with parents/guardians regularly, but focus on team commitments.
8. Cultural Awareness

Learn a few polite phrases in the host country’s language (hello, thank you, excuse me).

Respect religious practices, traditions, and dress codes.

Be open-minded — you are a guest abroad.
9. Emergency Procedures

Always carry the Club emergency contact card.

In case of separation, go to the designated meeting point (to be shared by staff).

Contact staff immediately in case of emergency (medical, legal, personal).
